Billabong Gardens is situated just 3kms from Central Station in cosmopolitan Newtown. With the longest retail shop in Sydney, Billabong Gardens is just metres to sensational restaurants, cheap eats, funky cafes and eclectic shops. `

We pride ourselves on running a top notch hostel, (we've been doing it for 30 years!). It is a warm and friendly 'home' which is quiet, (so you can get some sleep!) and yet seconds from the best nightlife in Sydney. Fantastic bars, live music venues, cheap restaurants, cinemas and a youthful community based around students, (Sydney University & the school for Dramatic Arts are just around the corner) are all nearby. There is also an eclectic mix of musicians and artists. All this makes Newtown the happening place to be.

Billabong Gardens is a 5-backpack hostel. That means you get the cleanest rooms with the best facilities. We also have amazing weekly rates to help you save even more. All our dormitories have 4-6 beds, most with private bathroom, T.V. and ceiling fans. Full security accommodation with 24 hour access and your choice of single sex or mixed dorms is also at our hostel.
