Located in the heart of Valencia city centre, in an important street close to the Turia's riverbed (the biggest park in town). Just a few minutes walk from the city´s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilica, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen...), well connected to the beach, the train station, the old city, the City of Arts and Sciencies and the best places to go out, from traditional 'tapas' bars to the hippest nightlife.
The location couldn't be better: We are between the commercial area and the bohemian district of 'El Carmen'

The Purple Nest is the best place for backpackers to enjoy Valencia. Don't worry about the heat!! Rooms have Airco that works in the night (from 22pm till 11am) We are very close to different (indoor) swimming pools in the city and just a few meters away from the bus stop to the beach, and in our hostel you won't suffer the high temperatures, thanks to our air conditioning system, which make us the most refreshing hostel in Valencia!!

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds and private rooms of 2, 3 and 4. All our big rooms are dorms: female or mixed. Big clean communal (single sex) big bathrooms are located on each floor.
Check out time is at 11:00 AM and check-in is anytime after 1:00 PM.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars, sites and sounds of Valencia and get you anything you need including free city maps, info, and reservations for walking tours and bike rental.

Our Bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town and enjoy the great atmosphere that the Valencian night produces.

In order to avoid problems with illegal immigration: we reserve the right to decline any reservation, which may enable illegal immigrants to enter Spain. Any actions suspected to be illegal will be reported to the Spanish authorities.

Anyone above 35 years of age will be required to book private rooms only.

Note: Special Events Booking Fallas 2011 - **Please note that for Fallas we require a minimum 5 days booking from 15/03/2011 until 19/03/2011 inclusive. After the booking we will charge all the amount of the booking on your credit card. Cancellations will be accepted until 15/02/11 after that , no refunds will be given.

Note: Special Events Booking Formula 1 2011 - **Please note that for Formula 1 we require a minimum of 4 nights booking from 23/06/2011 until 26/06/2011 inclusive. After the booking we will charge all the amount of the booking on your credit card. You will be notified by e-mail once your credit card has been charged. Cancellations will be accepted until 31/05/11 after that , no refunds will be given.

Special Events Booking Tomatina 2011 - **Please note that for Tomatina we require a minimum stay of 4 nights booking from 29/08/2011 until 01/09/2011 inclusive. After the booking we will charge all the amount of the booking on your credit card. You will be notified by e-mail once your credit card has been charged. Cancellations will be accepted until 31/07/11 after that , no refunds will be given.
