MORNING BIKE TOUR - The Local Way of Life & La Chimba Tour

Join us for a hands-on exploration of Santiago's bustling personality by riding through the city center, fresh fruit, vegetable and seafood markets and learning about the history of the country through the eyes and ears of a local. Visit the Patronato neighborhood and make stops in the Korean and Middle Eastern districts. Continue to La Vega fruit and vegetable market where you can buy a refreshing snack, then continue on to the seafood market for great photo opportunities of freshly caught salmon and shrimp. Learn about Chile's rich cultural and religious history from the graffiti murals in town and explore the city center of Santiago by touring the Mapocho Train Terminal, Plaza de Armas Square and the Museum of Fine Arts. Take a peek into historical Chilean monuments at San Cristobal Hill, the Metropolitan Park and Pablo Neruda's house.
AFTERNOON BIKE TOUR - Parks & Politics Tour

We begin with a gentle ride through Santiago´s parks chatting about Chilean culture, education and immigration before diving into the hustle and bustle of downtown to explore General Pinochet´s notorious 1973 political coup and its repercussions. Using Santiago´s beautiful green spaces and lively city center, this tour will show you what an important regional and international political player Chile has been since it's independence in 1810. Explore the Providencia neighborhood with stops at Balmaceda Park, Bustamante Park and an early 20th century aristocratic neighborhood. Continue to discover the Santiago city center by making stops at Plaza Italia, the former United States Embassy, the Diego Portales building, the Lastarria Neighborhood, the Presidential Palace and the Paris-London neighborhood. This intriguing city tour is a spectacular way to get to know the history of the city and ride through some of the most picturesque neighborhoods in town.
