Tour Itinerary
Take a walking tour of Nuremberg: beautiful and prosperous old-world medieval walled city, centre of the Holy Roman Empire, cradle of the German Renaissance, Temple City of the Third Reich, and home to both the Nuremberg Nazi Rallies and Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. Our expert guide will show you where German Emperors ruled, where saints were buried, where the most famous and talented German artisans in history created inspirational, awe-inspiring works, and where the colourful and lively markets have taken place for almost 700 years. And every December the city hosts the greatest Christmas Markets in Germany (Christmas shopping is available year-round.)
Then, after a lunch break in the Marketplace, we show you the rest: The Nazi Rally Grounds, the largest Third Reich buildings in the world silently testifying to the megalomania of a madman, where Nazi Stormtroopers paraded while singing the praises of their "Führer", where Hitler personally inspected columns of "perfect" SS men and performed pseudo-religious cult rituals before hundreds of thousands, and where the German masses saluted the swastika. Plus this was the site of the Nuremberg War-Crimes Trials, perhaps the most famous trials in history, where many of the murderous masterminds of Hitler's war finally faced justice and the gallows.

The tour was made all the more enjoyable by the guide Jason who was excellent, he gave lots of information but was never boring and was one of the best guides we have ever experienced. Well done.

This guide is both very knowledgeable and accommodating. Throughout the tour, he was willing to answer questions related to German culture and history and went out of his way during the break to give me a tour of the Kaiserberg castle (!) Interesting factÖ he is an expat American and is therefore fluent both in American English and German. (This is a hard find in Nurnberg which is otherwise guided by only native Germans!)

My daughter & I felt lucky as due to cancellations we were the only two people on the tour, Keith was great, he was so knowledgeable & he made us feel so comfortable, that we felt like he was more a friend showing us around rather than a tour guide. From the emails with Jason, who was so great, to the actual tour, the whole experience was so professional. I would highly recommend this tour both for content & cost.
