On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh - a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Have a short cycling trip then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.

We get to our first stop were we are given fruit and listen to local music, we decide to make a quick trip to the toilet but when we get back our group has gone! We asked the people where that had went and they point down a cement track, at this point we are quite upset as were in the middle of nowhere and not sure how were going to get home. The track takes us to the bus but the driver just points down the track, we found another tour and had to join that to make it back. Don't take this tour!

The lunch was dismal...barely a small plate of cold boring cold rice, morning glory stems and a dried slice of pork and an egg...was so disappointing as was looking forward to a lunch after an early start..that restaurant needs changing...the rest was fantastic...please get rid of that restaurant..there are heaps there...
I was so hungry....The itinerary said fish was included in the lunch..they wanted an extra 170,000VD
Loved the Mekong....will overnight next time...if the lunch is better
