Ecolodge Guancascos

Ecolodge Guancascos, an eco-friendly cabin, located at the entrance of the highest mountain of Honduras: Celaque. This National Park offers great hiking and bird watching. 2 private bedrooms, a dorm and a kitchen, fits about 16 people. Gracias is 6 km from Ecolodge Guancascos !! A corridor connects the rooms and is the perfect place to hang out, to read or to play a board game. There is a coffee maker, a micro wave and a fridge. Free water and WiFi are available. Villa Verde is a very small rural village. In front of the hostel live our neighbours Don Luis and Doña Angela. Don Luis is a great guide and Doña Angela can provide meals if requested. There is a very basic convenience store (pulperia). The river, the mountain and the villagers, together they contribute to make your stay a unique experience.
