We highly recommend using public transit while visiting the City. San Francisco is a very small city by any standard, and parking is always at a premium, and very expensive. The Luz is conveniently adjacent to major city Bus (MUNI) transit lines #38, #27, and #19, all of which connect to Market Street, Downtown’s Main Thoroughfare. Fares are very reasonable, with day, week, and month passes available at a discount.
The hotel offer different variety of room to suit everyone's' needs. Free wi-fi for everyone. Laundry facility on the premises. Information is always available from our friendly, helpful staff!

The staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. I wish I was able to stay longer but the neighborhood is really dirty, there’s a lot of trash on the sidewalk and I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying outside at night. There’s also a lot of homeless people that make you feel bad for them and wonder why in a rich country like ours we have homeless people?
I was surprised to see big difference after walking 2 blocks away where you see open stores and restaurants.
