Zen House is located in the historical center of Quetzaltenango, a few blocks from Central Park (Parque Central). We are within walking distance of supermarkets, farmers markets, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies and locals shops. You can visit historical sites such as Parque Central, the Cathedral, Pasaje Enriquez, etc. We are also very close to popular bars and clubs for your nightlife activities.
Zen House has six rooms including dormitories and private rooms with shared and private bathrooms. We have a large covered common area with where you can relax and converse with other travelers. We also have a fully equipped shared kitchen. You can wash your clothes at our hand washing basin for free or for a small fee we have a washing machine available for you to use. Free WI-FI is also available.

El hostel parecia de pelicula de terror. Estaba muy sucio (habitacion privada, con 10 botellas de alcohol vacias tiradas al suelo, mesita llena de pelos de gato). En la cocina habia no se podia ni entrar y habia una cama grande al medio, ademas de comida podrida y platos sucios de semanas. Todo lleno de bolsas de basura, etc. Llevo años viajando en hostels y nunca habia visto algo asÃ. El hombre fue amable. Una vibra muy extraña en el hostel.

Nice and chill hostel. Great location. Nice common area with places to sit and relax under the light from the clear roof. Right near Shamrock, bajo la luna, la red Kat and other great places. Easy walk to parque central. Rooms are spacious and the beds are normal and not bunk beds. The people working and living there are friendly.

If you are into chill atmospshere and Guatemalan underground, you are in the right place here! The owner is very relaxed person, always helpful, he recommended me some good spots around and also we visited some local places together, thanks for it! Surely you can meet there a lot of interesting people :) Hostel is in great location, quiet area, very close to downtown of Xela. The place will stay in my memory, thanks! Sending a hug :)
