It is well situated within Cairns city centre, close to the vibrant Cairns Esplanade, main business district, shops and restaurants. The hotel is ideally located as a base to explore Tropical North Queensland, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.

The beds were falling apart, the room was full of ants, there was mould in the bathroom, the bar was closed the whole time, and the breakfast lacked any fruit or anything fresh.
