Welcome to Berat Backpackers, the first backpacker hostel to open in Berat and the second in the whole of Albania!. This 300 year old house is a UNESCO protected building with traditional features set in an amazing location, in the historic Gorica quarter of Berat.
With 4 beautifully decorated double rooms, 3 dorms and a family room, we're sure to be able to cater to your needs. All of our guests can enjoy a free breakfast each morning, including traditional Albanian Pastry's.
Come and relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this wonderfully preserved house and chill out under the fruit trees on on of our 5 garden terraces.
It's the perfect place to stay when visiting the picturesque city of Berat.

Lugar privilegiado por la naturaleza,abundancia de verdes en su patio externo y/o en sus diversas terrazas.
Árboles frutales que te hacen sentir en casa....Su anfitriona , una mujer Albanesa es un encanto ! Su sonrisa y disponibilidad en solucionar problemas, más allá de las diferencias idiomáticas es increíble .
Su personal también todo lo puede aunque ellos se comunican en varias lenguas, incluida el español.
Habitaciones amplias y luminosas, cocina y excelente ambiente

Great hostel! Berat is a one night place but I wish there were more hostels like this around albania. Beautiful facilities, great breakfast and nice people

We stayed for just one night, but it was perfect!
Beautiful room, beautiful outdoor spaces and nice views.
Everything was clean, good breakfast and the people was nice.
Just letting you know, if you are carrying have luggage, it will be a bit hard to get to the hostel because the hostel is located in a sloppy street (as almost all of Berat’s streets 😉).
