It’s a lovely chill hostel. The dorms are clean with really comfy beds. The beds don’t have curtains which was off putting at first but it was more of an incentive to chat to the other guests. The town and hostel are pretty quiet but a nice place to relax after seeing turtles. The breakfast was basic but nice, fresh fruit, toast and hot cakes.

We stayed here for two nights in a dorm room and then also one night in a private room. The hostel is really nicely situated about 20 minutes walk from the beach. The kitchen facilities were the best we found during our stay in Mexico, and the rooms and bathrooms were really clean and well looked after. The staff were also incredibly kind, going above and beyond to help us when we were struggling with illness, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Highly recommend for a stay in Akumal!

Very friendly staff, super new and clean rooms and share spaces. Nice rooftop with a pool. Nice Mx aesthetic. Ohh, breakfast included. Saludos amigos!
