Ava Garden Backpackers is located down the wall of a Great East Africa Rift Valley & near Lake Manyara National park entrance gate on your way to Ngorongoro & Serengeti national park.
it's a place that provides you with a scenic view of nature & interactions with wild animals especially baboons, and blue monkeys but if you are lucky enough you can spot a herd of Elephants crossing the road from a National park to a nature reserve [not often].
A hostel is near a village called Mto wa Mbu which accommodates 126 different tribes from all angles of the nation but is dominated by Maasai. Ava garden backpackers, Where the world comes to stay, connect to nature and community.
We are 30 mins from Arusha a well-known city among those who decide to tour the national parks of northern Tanzania.
We offer bed & breakfast but for lunch & dinner, you must make an order, free wi-fi, a minibar, hiking, and different nature and community activities.

A cute and very welcoming accommodation located in a safe area. The staff helped us out a lot and they offer lots of cultural activities if you’re interested in real experiences. Even our laundry was ready over night in short time. The atmosphere is really chill and the guys running the Backpackers have a great knowledge and experience to share as well. Staff is honest and reliable and our private room came with a comfy bed and a perfect mosquito net. It’s clean and good for relaxing, thank you again.
