Jungle Tide offers accommodation to suit every taste and budget, all set in the dramatic Hanthana mountains and with a large garden, stream and a big swimming pool, as well as outdoor and indoor games, books and free wifi. Experience the real, rural Sri Lanka yet only just over half an hour from the centre of Kandy.
Over the years our guests have gone crazy about the food, the scenery, the bird and animal life in and around Jungle Tide, and the comfortable rooms. We can also offer Sri Lankan cookery lessons, village walking tours, and longer hikes and birding expeditions with a professional guide and naturalist. The Pekoe Trail, Sri Lanka's only long distance hiking route and rapidly gaining a worldwide reputation, runs close by.

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the total amount of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 12:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
No curfew.
Non smoking throughout.

After a few hectic days in Kandy this was an ideal retreat, The food was amazing and it was great to get breakfast and dinner in the house. There was free filtered water, tea and coffee in the cottage.
There is a lovely pool to relax by. It was great to walk the dogs in the tea plantations. The cottage is beside a stream so falling asleep listening to the frogs, cicadas and water was very relaxing.
I wish I had more time at Jungle tide so I could walk the pekoe trail.
