Pros: Great location, really friendly staff and good value. There is a well equipped kitchen and you can store your bags and use the facilities after checking out. Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and the a/c was too cold with no blankets provided.

Alena is just starting up, but this place got better the longer I stayed (three nights). The owners, Alexia and Alex, are involved daily and they clearly are hands-on and care. The volunteer staff are wonderful! (Jeremy, Camila, Mia and Diego). While I was here they added shelves for each bed. There are large lockers for each bed. The location of the hostel is perfectâ€¦ less than three blocks to both the town square and bus station. They offered the best cenote tour I went on. Alena has HEART!
