Mountain View Backpackers Kisumu is located at Mamboleo, Kajulu, Our hotel is a small family-owned alternative budget traveler accommodation facility in Kisumu, Kenya.
We offer secure, comfortable, easy, and affordable accommodations to backpackers, budget travelers, tourists, students, and visitors to Kisumu. We try and create a relaxed and friendly environment where you walk in and feel right at home.

We have a crocodile and animal park within the premises free to all booked guests. Beautiful outdoor garden to chill, a Bar, and a restaurant. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

The property is located in Kajulu, mamboleo, a quiet (not too quiet) suburb just outside Kisumu. It is the ideal location if you do not mind a suburban setting, out of the city center.

Terms and Conditions for Backpacker Hostel:

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards, PayPal.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 3.5 USD per person per day.

Reception: Until 22:00 hs
No curfew.

Reservation and Payment:

Reservations are subject to availability and can be made online, via phone, or in person.

Full payment is preferable at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Payments can be made in cash via accepted credit/debit cards or via the platform


Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the check-in time will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the check-in time will incur a charge equivalent to one night's stay.

No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Check-in and Check-out:

Check-in time is from 9.00 am, and check-out time is by 10.00 am Our timings are flexible though.

Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated based on availability.

Guest Responsibility:

Guests are responsible for their belongings during their stay.
The hostel is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal property.

Guests are expected to respect the property and other guests, maintaining a peaceful environment at all times.

Age Restrictions:

Guests must be at least 18 years old to stay in the hostel. Exceptions may be made for accompanied minors with parental consent.

Behavior and Conduct:

Any behavior deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or illegal will result in immediate eviction from the premises without refund.

We provide a chilled out easy environment, so common sense prevails.

Smoking and Drug Policy:

Designated smoking areas are available outside.
The use of illegal drugs is not permitted.

Alcohol Policy:

Guests are allowed to consume alcohol responsibly within designated areas of the hostel.

Security and Safety:

The hostel employs security measures and staff presence, to ensure the safety of guests and their belongings.
However, it is recommended to keep rooms and belonging safe at all times.

Liability:

The hostel is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or illnesses that occur during the guest's stay.

Guests are advised to have their travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
