Welcome to Hanoi Backpackers Hostel Oldtown! Tucked inside a small quiet alley in the old quarter, you should use Google maps to find us. Go to 128D Tran Nhat Duat street, there is a small alley, go straight to that alley then turn left, our hostel is on the left. You can relax in our comfy beds- while being within minutes walk of anything you could need!!! The famous beer street is right around the corner, however we can assure you will still get a good nights sleep.

We will make your time in Hanoi convenient- speak to our friendly reception staff and they can help you book the HA GIANG LOOP with Jasmine Tours and Mamas ( you will get a free T-shirt and a free night), buses all over Vietnam (!), and tours to must-see places such as Ha Long bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa. Heading to Laos? We'll assist you with your visa and bus arrangements. At Hanoi Backpackers Hostel, we've got all your travel needs covered. Need to stay connected? Grab one of our SIM cards. Got some laundry? Don't worry; we'll take care of it! Just ask our reception team!

OUR HOSTEL IS CONNECTED WITH HANOI BACKPACKERS AND ROOFTOP BAR- MEANING ALL OUR GUESTS ARE WELCOME TO GO AND HAVE A DRINK THERE, TO TAKE IN THE GORGEOUS SUNSET AND CITYSCAPE VIEWS, BREAKFAST IS ALSO IN THIS BUILDING FROM 6:30AM - 10AM.
We hold daily events joined with the other hostel so that you can meet more friends if you choose. At our hostel, there is no distance between host and guests, some of whom are backpacker volunteers, and have an inside perspective on your experiences! Let's get to know each other and hang out!

Our dorm rooms are equipped with FULL aircon, wifi, private balconies, ensuite bathrooms with hot, powerful showers (with soap and shampoo provided), reading lights, shelves, privacy curtains for when you need space, and personal lockers for each guest! Our reception staff will always be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
