Macarena is an eco-hostel located in the heart of El Paredon, and we are proudly one of the few 100% Guatemalan-owned establishments in the area.
Our location is privileged: we are less than 100 meters from the sea and just steps away from all the shops and well-known places in the area.
80% of our hostel is built with wood and coconut palm, crafted by local artisans. We strive to keep our facilities in the best possible condition. Additionally, we have a small restaurant, internet access, a refrigerator, lockers, and hammocks for you to relax. We hope you can experience something different with us.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards.
This property will pre-authorize your card before arrival.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of Paredón, you have many options of restaurants just a few steps away. The cleaning was amazing and the atmosphere is a really chill place to relax after surfing or doing any of the activities you could do. The staff was very welcoming and always to help you out with any questions.

Lovely tiny Tippies very close to the beach! perfect place for some peace - quiet, small and cosy! Rodrigo and Josseline were very friendly - would definetely recommend!

Loved my stay! It’s a cool property, comfortable bed and good value for money. Super close to the beach and other main places in El Paredon. The manager was helpful and friendly. Reccommend!
