OUR STORY
We are a charming place on the perfect location, within walking distance from both the beach and city center! We are only a 5 min walk from the beach and only a 10-15 minutes walk to the train, bus, ferry and airport drop off point, Diocletian Palace, Old Town, all tourist sites - no need for buses

If you want to experience real Mediterranean lifestyle in one of the first hostels in Split, this is the place to be. Start your day with some free coffee or tea in our kitchenette then head to the sand beach Bacvice with other fellow travellers. Bacvice is the ONLY beach in Split awarded the Blue Flag for extremely clean swimming water. safety and beach facilities. Try your hand at Picigin, local beach ball game. Enjoy a few drinks or have a lunch at one of numerous beach restaurants. Visit Split old town and Roman Diocletian palace which is under the UNESCO protection.

How to start the day:
Dress up with swimming suit and slippers; perhaps enjoy the free coffee and tea on our cool artistic
balcony, created by previous guests. Grab your towel, walk for a few steps (we are not on the water,
but less than a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Adriatic Sea).

Afternoon:
Chill, chill, chill! Perhaps play a few tunes on the guitar while enjoying your beer or perhaps a glass of
wine on the balcony with your new friends and fellow travelers.

Evening:
Get ready for a night out! Bacvice has the MOST popular nightlife in Split with over 20 bars,
restaurants, cafes, clubs, right ON the water. Open until 5:00 in the morning and let`s not forget
the big after party: night swimming in the Adriatic sea. Bacvice is the MOST popular beach in Split.

HOSTEL'S HISTORY
Ladybird's, and the guests' very cool art decor is covering the walls. She is a Norwegian Artist Lady who has spent many years living in our hostel.


We got the best steamer from Norway so we are steam cleaning the hostel. We also wash our sheets
beyond 60 degrees Celsius. So we believe to be the cleanest hostel in the city ;o)
