We have shrunk into a small apartment bnb now with full apartment equipment and one room of 4 beds. New location is even closer to the train, bus and night market. Heart area of old town area, you can walk everywhere!

Very small but cosy apartment conversion with only four beds. Nice place to stay when stopping through in Yilan. Beds are comfy and have privacy courtains.

This place is actually just one-room rented out from a family-stayed apartment. With the exception of wi-fi, there is no other facility available in the hostel. A very 'aloof' and 'distanced' place to be both from the owner (from his guest engagement stance) as well as from tourist attractions. But this is practically the only hostel around town, so you have very little choice. I would not choose to stay here or visit Yilan again for these reasons.

A lovely little hostel, with convenient location to the train station and night market. Also a 10 minute walk to a cool bowling alley.
The host and his family are very friendly and full of local knowledge in case you need suggestions during your stay. They also have a very cute kitten.
