Pensión Alcalá fue fundada en el año 1989 y actualmente gestionada por la segunda generación de la familia Lugo. El establecimiento consta de diecinueve habitaciones, de habitaciones individiales, tanto exteriores, interiores o con balcón, tambien de habitaciones dobles con baño privado o comunitario tanto interior como exterior y por último de habitaciones triple interior o exterior, estas últimas dispone de un balcón con vistas al océano Atlántico y a los acantilados Los Gigantes.

No luggage storage before check-in possible though confirmed in email before arrival, left me sitting in the street with my bags. Shared bathroom and shared shower + toilet both mean the same, only a small sink in the room. In my stay of 10 days no cleaning of the room and no change of my 1 towel. Did love my balcony, really opened up the room which had a little fridge, table and chair. And really loved my fan, 10/10 for that one! Fantastic gentleman at the reception! Carried my bags up!

The place is just fine to sleep. However, there is a problem with the management of this place. They have rooms, but also apartment. When we arrived the guy at the counter couldn’t find our reservation. When I first booked with the website pension Alcalá charged me the whole amount directly. When I arrived I was charged again the full amount. Contacted the hostel, no answers. Charged twice. This is not acceptable.
