Backpacker Cowies has a shared lounge. The property is close to Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway and Prince of Wales Museum. Local points of interest like Rajabai Clock Tower and Crawford Market are reachable within 1.1 km and 1.9 miles, respectively.
All our rooms contain air conditioning, and some units at the hostel have a balcony.
We have both Dorm Rooms and Private Rooms. Facilities such as Shared Kitchen, Free Wifi, Common Area, Terrace, personal Charging Dockets, TV and free activities are available.

Nicely located hostel in South Mumbai, all the main attractions are within a walking distance, plus there are innumerous restaurant options in the area.
We took a private room in the 4th floor, and it was the worst room that we had in our 3-week India trip. The walls were mouldy, really dirty and peeling, they could really use a good hand of painting, also it wasn't super clean, on the last day we found a dead spider under my boyfriend's pillow. The bathroom, on the other hand, was nice.

HIGHLY NOT recommended !!! We booked three nights, second day they sold my bed to other guy, reception was very surprised by this situation, but sent the other guy to another room. Before the last night we came in the afternoon to our room and there was again somebody else in our beds and our LOCKS WERE DAMAGED by staff, lockers empty and our bags and things were removed to some dirty hole kind of room publicly accesible for everyone. My money is missing - around 80 US dollars. Manager said they are not res
