The Way Hostel & Bar

The Way Hostel & Bar is the first hostel in Donggang Township. It is on the edge of town on a quiet street, but downtown is only a 10 minute walk away. Small restaurants are right around the corner. Located near Dapeng Bay, the hostel offers a comfortable base for exploring the region's attractions or resting on your journey.

The Way Hostel & Bar offers spacious dorms with real mattresses, large windows, and AC in every room. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel, and a full service bar with snacks on the first floor (no loud music), We have a nice rooftop terrace facing west with views of the Dapeng Bay Bridge, which has a light show every night. We have a common room on the top floor with couches, TV, water, and a microwave.

Free Bicycle Rental is availble for you to explore the bay and ride around town. Dongang has the best seafood in Taiwan, so don't miss the seafood market or our favorite little sushi restaurant (seriously, amazing sushi). From Donggang you can also visit Liouchio Island, which is a short ferry ride away. We also offer free drinking water, and free coffee and tea and shampoo/shower gel, and the wifi is free and available in every room. Laundry service is also available here.

On the first floor The Way Bar offers great cocktails, craft beer, and bar snacks.
